" In August 2008 we contracted Sydney Construction Group ( SCG) to renovate our terrace in Paddington. SCG responded to a tender along with other builders and was successful in securing the work. It was clear from their response to the tender that SCG had taken the time to understand the work required, the critical timeframe and our high expectations.
The renovation presented a number of challenges for SCG including difficult site access, a tight 12 week schedule for a job that touched every part of the property and a requirement to work with subcontractors on our behalf. The SCG team, particularly Daniel Afonso and Greg Kemp, made sure that we were kept fully informed of progress on almost a daily basis and that they allowed plenty of time for decisions that needed to be made during the build. SCG followed the architects drawings and the engineers instructions exactly. At no time did we feel the need to check that the plans were being followed correctly or that the schedule was being met.
Daniel and Greg make sure that the experience was enjoyable for us rather than difficult and stressful. Due to the level of service provided and the quality of the finish we received from SCG I would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone requiring a home renovation.
